Clover and Ken Ryan met while working at a design and production company in Dania, FL in 1997. Just a short two years later, Ken took the first step towards entrepreneurship doing freelance event design and decor fabrication for various companies around the country. Fast forward a year and the business of creating spandex structures, drape installations, and stilt puppet costumes (that he made & wore as event entertainment) took on a life of its own beyond a one-man-shop.

The time had come for Clover to join him on this event adventure and the two incorporated as Scenic Elementz in 2001. Since then, the company has grown from a workshop consisting of an industrial sewing machine on their dining room table, to an expanded shop in the apartment next door and now a 5,000-square-foot warehouse and team of 20 carpenters, welders, seamstresses and support staff experienced in the world of live events.
